Facilitated by Prof. Frederic Bevilacqua from IRCAM, Paris, this will focus on IRCAM’s software tools, FTM/MMM, for motion tracking using optical cameras. This is the same software tools used by Emio GrecoPC in their Double Skin/Double Mind educational DVD, created to introduce people to their choreography.
This workshop will link into work being presented at the SEAM Symposium at the Seymour Centre on the Friday and Saturday (Oct 15 and 16), including the Emio GrecoPC Double Skin/Double Mind interactive installation which will be available in the foyer of the Seymour Centre for people to engage with.
